• This website is created for you to look at all the different styles I offer and their prices, by simply going to the upper left corner of the website, you’ll see three vertical lines, click where it says “Braid Styles“

• After you have decided which braid style catches your attention, please go ahead and send me a direct message through Instagram or WhatsApp me to (786) 782-6630 so can set up your appointment. If you don’t see the hair style you had in mind, contact me either way and send me a referral picture of what you’d like. 

Apologies for so many steps on this part of the process but talking directly to you, allows me to assist you better based on your personal needs, rather than having you booking an appointment and not even knowing if I’m able to work with your hair length or hair health in some cases. After we get in contact our communication should be smooth and easy, taking into consideration I only have two hands and if for any reason I don’t reply right away it only means that I’m working or on vacations 😅, most likely the first one. Also be ready to send pictures or videos of your hair, the more details I have about your hair the better I can assist you. That being said, let’s keep going.

• Hair must be at least 6 inches.
  
• Bring hair washed and detangled. Detangling service are provided in case you don't have the time or the patience to do it  yourself, starting at $30 ( please know that if your hair is too tangle and it takes me 15 minutes or more to detangle your hair, the price changes. It can range from $60 to $100 or more. The reason being is because this part of the process really takes a toll on my hands and wrist which I need very much in order to keep proving my services and art to you beautiful people 😌) 

If your hair is not properly washed I can’t help with that and it can cause for the braid style to not look clean and neat. DO NOT APPLY ANY PRODUCTS AFTER WASHING YOUR HAIR UNLESS YOU ARE BLOW DRYING IT WHICH IN THAT CASE YOU CAN USE HEAT PROTECTOR and just that. If you apply any products like creams or leave ins we take the risk of that product not being compatible with me braid gel which can cause a WHITE, PASTY MIXTURE and in that case I cannot rinse the product you used because I don’t have the tools to do so. Thank you😌

• Blow dry your hair if curly pattern. Blow dry service is also provided, starting at $25 ( same rule applies here guys 💜, could be because your hair is too long or even because of lack of maintenance. For example, not trimming your  hair ends often causes the hair to tangle a lot and therefore to having hair knots or not moisturizing your hair enough can cause dryness which leads to the hair becoming tangled quick which makes this process to take longer, aka,REALLY  takes a toll on my hands so this is how I proceed in these cases. 

• Don't cut or trim your ends at least two weeks before your appointment. I know I said it’s important to trim your ends often but, don’t do it if your appointment is in two weeks or less, reason being is because It will be difficult and almost impossible for me to make the end of the braid look good since when you trim or cut your hair or hair ends, the hair it’s not uneven anymore and for a good braid without hairs sticking out of it, is important for the hair to be uneven as well as sufficient hair length.

• Make sure to have a clear schedule for the day of your appointment. Sometimes it could take me more than the estimated time to complete the work of art 😉.

• All styles require a $30 deposit. Unless you are getting a house call service o a braid style that’s more than $300. If you need to cancel your appointment, please let me know at least  48hours previous to the date of your appointment otherwise your deposit money  will not be return. These $30 or any other amount will be credited to the total amount.

• By booking with me, you consent to having photos and videos taken during the session, which may include your face. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform me in advance.
  
• HOUSE CALLS: TRAVEL FEE: starts at $100, meaning if you are out of my area range which is Doral, Kendall, Brickell, Coral gables, Hialeah to name a few, the price increases. 

      in this type of service I do charge by the hour. I charge $100 per hour for in-home appointment. Traveling to you location requires me to adjust to a different set up, such as chair height and workspace, and adapt my technique to your ensure your comfort and best outcome.

• Moisturize your scalp with a dry natural oil (such as jojoba or tea tree) but ensure you don't overly grease the scalp as this can actually block pores. If you have very sensitive scalp I suggest using Sulfur8 spray. 
• To get rid of buildup after you get your hair braided, you'll need to wash your braids on the third week mark by simply mixing  shampoo and water in a bottle, shake it and then apply it on your scalp and softly massage it. ( You can put on a wig cap to prevent them from getting too messy with the shampoo and water mix). Then followed  by  blow  drying  your  hair at  a  low  medium temperature. IMPORTANT —-> once you get the braids in contact with water the product not longer will hold the braid as before so be aware it won’t look or feel the same. That being said I want to let you know that I can’t guarantee the results or conditions of your hair if it comes in contact with water.
• Before you go to bed, wrap your braids in a silk scarf, bonnet or durag.
• When itching avoid using your nails, this can cause irritation on your scalp. Instead, softly pad your hair.
• Shedding hair after removing your braids is common. Our hair sheds daily, but we don't notice. After a few weeks with your braids on, a build up of hair will shed because it has been locked inside the braids, so don't panic. You'll be fine ;)
